Using Blogs

This seemed a bit easier to get an account and start using, creating and posting. This is also useful as I have visited many blogs that families have created so family and friends can view their cuties growing up, family trips, and more. This is another venue that can bring people closer. For students, it may be a way of life. This can be used as they navigate through assignments and build on knowledge. They can set up and build on their blog anything that relates to their Freshman class. For example, they can post pictures next to some of the readings that will indicate their emotions or understanding of the content in a visual way. They can select images from the web that would correspond to their frustrations as they are writing and responding to others about readings, teacher, assignments. This is a place they can go wild. Kadjer discusses how her students created their own museum that "present their understanding of the American Dream"(108). How fantastic is that?
